Get the Look....
Riding boots are a classic fall must have! They can be worn with leggings, skirts, or jeans which makes these boots such a versatile fall item. The riding boot has a lower heel and a sleek silhouette which can be easily transitioned into a more winter wardrobe. I love to wear mine with skinny jeans or leggings which compliments the long clean look of the boot. Wearing them with dark jeans, black skinnies, or even a tan or grey skinny pant and then matching them up with a chambray (denim) shirt, or a jacket like I've chosen, or floral top, are all good ways to wear the look.
Pairing cognac with black is a great way to show contrast between your outfit and your accessories. This gives the look a more casual feel. I also love to mix in some brighter color by adding a bold scarf.
Be careful not to have too many solid colors in your wardrobe. A striped turtle neck can be added under jackets and sweaters to add some dimension to your look. Plaid is also a good option for fall and looks great paired with a jacket and scarf.
Black riding boots with black jeans or jeggings gives the look a little more dressy feel. There is less of a contrast between the boot and the leggings but still compliments the shape of the boot and will make your leg look tall and lean.
